The manuscript of this supernatural thriller/dark fantasy garnered a period of intense Hollywood interest. Initially, top tier production companies were talking about using Shimmer as a springboard to a summer tentpole movie franchise. Later, a television production company executive talked with me on several occasions about the possibility of adapting Shimmer as a weekly TV series. Ultimately, neither of these possibilities bore fruit. Yes, Hollywood runs hot and cold.
Interesting Fact (1): I used a bunch of fan names for characters in this book! They finally learned the fate of their namesakes.
Interesting Fact (2): I experimented with Shimmer, initially releasing it as a free weekly e-Serial from Chapter 1 right through the Epilogue. Presently, it is a very affordable eBook.

Shimmer gives me shivers!
Pleasant dreams will be all but impossible as you read this incredible story. The Outsider in this tale kills without a scintilla of remorse and in unique ways. This book could very well be the first of a new series. (No, I have not heard that it will be, but I can sure hope!) Each character is well developed and has at least one interesting ability. This is a very intense story. I could not read fast enough and was eager to find out what would happen next. I urge all fans of horror or the paranormal to purchase a copy. Shimmer gives me shivers!"
